Some unknown gunmen have abducted the wife and daughter of Idi Usman Bamaiyi, the Plateau State Commissioner for Environment.
According to online reports, the kidnapping occurred early this morning at the Commissioner’s Gindiri, Mangu LGA house.
Armed hoodlums allegedly stormed into his home and kidnapped his wife and daughter.
It was not clear whether Bamaiyi was at home for the weekend when the gunmen came calling.
The Gindiri area has been a playground for terrorists in recent weeks, reports said.
Bamaiyi is one of the aspirants for a seat in the House of Representatives on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
