A yet-to-be-identified suspected Yahoo boy whose role is a middle man for cashing out illegal proceeds (Picker), has been shot dead by gunmen suspected to be hired assassins along Oruwhoru road in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to PUNCH, the incident occurred on Saturday evening when the gunmen who had been trailing the young motorist suddenly pulled the trigger from behind and shot him dead in his car.

“Nothing was taken away from his car after killing him. The killers did not even check if he had anything on him. They only confirmed that he was dead. They seemed to have followed him from somewhere,” one of the eyewitnesses said.

“The young man is said to be a Yahoo-Yahoo boy who had picked money for someone and refused to give the money to the other person whom he picked it for.
