No fewer than four students of the College of Science and Health Technology in Tsafe, Zamfara State have been kidnapped by suspected bandits.
Sources in the community disclosed that the abduction occurred Tuesday night when they stormed the college with sophisticated weapons, shoot in the air to scare residents.
It was gathered that the kidnappers have already made contacts with the families of their victims, demanding undisclosed amount as ransom.
Police authorities in Zamfara State have confirmed the abductions. The spokesperson of the command, Muhammed Shehu, said troops have been deployed to trail the bandits and rescue the victims unhurt.
