Senator Uba Sani emerges Kaduna APC governorship candidate

The Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Senator Uba Sani has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), governorship primary held in Kaduna

Chairman of Kaduna APC governorship primary election, Anachuna Izu, while announcing Senator Uba Sani as winner, said he polled 1, 149 votes to clinch the governorship ticket.

He said his closest rival, Bashir Abubakar, scored 37 votes, while Sani Shaaban secured 10 votes.

He added that 1, 245 delegates were accredited for the exercise, adding that total votes cast stood at 1,235, with 1,196 of the votes valid and 39 votes invalid.
