Senator Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker, has advised Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on the type of running mate he should pick for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Sani, who served in the 8th National Assembly as a member of Kaduna Central, asked Atiku to pick a Vice President with whom he could operate as a team.

On Monday, he revealed this in a tweet on his Twitter account.

“The opposition primaries is done. All aspirants, party members and Nigerians who want…(I wanted to write Change but I changed my mind) a new united, peaceful & prosperous Nigeria should rally round the Candidate Atiku Abubakar. And for AA, Choose a VP you can work with as a team,” he wrote.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Atiku, a former Vice President, emerged as the Presidential candidate of the PDP for the 2023 general election on Saturday.
