Atiku Abubakar, the party’s presidential candidate, is alleged to have insulted Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, according to Samuel Ortom, the governor of Benue State.

In an interview with Arise TV, Ortom claimed that sending emissaries to Wike, the party’s second-place finisher in the presidential primaries, was insulting on the part of Atiku.

The governor criticized Atiku for not reaching out to Wike personally.

Ortom said: “It’s an insult for Atiku Abubakar to send people to a powerful mobiliser like Wike.
