Fifteen-year-old boy, identified only as Promise, has been for allegedly having anal sex with two children in Rumuodara in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
According to PUNCH, the mother of the children, Mrs Pius, said the victims, aged six and two, were defiled by the teenager, who lived in the same compound with them.
She noted that she discovered that the children were defiled when she noticed one of them bleeding from the anus.
The woman said the older child told her that the accused threatened to kill him if he reported to anyone.
The Executive Director of a non-governmental organisation, Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre, Dumnamene Fyneface, said that the group would get justice for the children.
“We will give the police the necessary support to prosecute the matter,” he added.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-Koko, who confirmed the incident said, “Yes, the boy has been arrested and the matter transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department.”
