Abuja-based activist, Deji Adeyanju, has explained why the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, will keep promoting the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

Adedyanju said Keyamo’s decision to promote Obi ahead of Atiku would keep dividing the opposition.

The political analyst stated this while reacting to Dino Melaye’s comment against Keyamo.

WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that Melaye had threatened to break Keyamo into pieces over his recent attack against Atiku.

Keyamo during an interview on Channels TV had said the former vice president has nothing to offer the country, lacks the capacity to rule Nigeria as a president and Peter Obi is far better than him.

Reacting, Adeyanju, in a series of tweets wrote: “If I’m Keyamo, I will keep saying Obi is more competent that Atiku to annoy Dino and even continue to promote Peter.

“The more APC promotes LP, the more they divide the opposition. They might have plans to fund LP, especially in SE. Politics is very simple to understand.

“Dino is so angry Keyamo said Obi is more competent than Atiku in that interview. Like I said yesterday, it’s a good strategy for APC to keep promoting Peter Obi. In fact, it’s a perfect strategy. It’s a win-win for the APC.”
