On Friday, a head-on collision between a Sharon with six passengers and an Opel with seven passengers occurred.

According to information obtained, the incident took place in Tushin Kadenya village, Kasuwan Magani, and resulted in the deaths of two passengers as well as injuries of varying severity to another four.

Musa Yakodo, an eyewitness and passenger, told newsmen in Kaduna on Friday that overspeeding was to blame for the collision.

According to him, “we have been complaining to our driver (Sharon driver), to reduce the speed, but he won’t hear,” adding that they were heading towards Kafachan from Kaduna Sabon Tasha, Kaduna garage, when the accident happened.
