Newborn baby found abandoned by roadside in Minna

An abandoned newborn baby boy has been discovered laying on the ground along Bida Road in Gidan-Mongoro area of Minna, the Niger State capital

Comrade Lanre Sadiq, who made this known on Wednesday morning, August 24, called on relevant authority to rescue the child.

“LIFE OF A WOMAN AFTER NINE MONTH. The picture below is a new born baby boy abandoned along Gidan-Mongoro area along Bida road in Minna. Pls, agency responsible for this should act fast. May Almighty Allah protect the baby.” he wrote.

WithinNigeria recalls that an abandoned newborn baby has been found dead after he was allegedly dumped in the middle of Enugu-Road dual carriage road opposite a commercial bank, near Nsukka’s old motor park, Enugu State.

The newly born baby boy, who was said to have been placed in a biscuit carton by an unknown mother was found dead on Tuesday morning.

According to Daily Sun, a commercial motorcyclist rider who pleaded anonymity said that the dead baby was discovered in the early hours of Tuesday by a commercial transporter driver.

He said; “I brought somebody who was going to Enugu to the motor park around 6:00 am this morning (Tuesday) when I saw some people who gathered at the middle near Nsukka old motor park looking at the newborn baby’s dead body.
