Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a man simply identified as Taiye, for hacking his wife Endurance, to death in Oviorie-Ovu community, Ethiope-East Local Government Area of the state.
Taiye, after killing his wife fled to his sister’s house in Abraka, in same Delta State.
However, after he told his sister what he had done, she invited the police who arrested the suspect.
Details as to why he (suspect) killed the deceased is still sketchy as of the time of this report
The deceased reportedly had eight children before she got married to the suspect.
The Delta State Police Command led by CP Ari Muhammed Ali confirmed the report in a text message sent by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.
