The 2023 general election campaign council has been inaugurated by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa State
The 26-man committee was inaugurated at the party’s office in Dutse, the state capital by gubernatorial candidate of the party, Dr. Mustapha Sule Lamido,
He said the campaign council is the supreme advisory body that would guide the activities of the campaign directorate and operate under the supervision of the party.
“You are charged with the responsibility of organizing and executing all the party’s campaign activities for the forthcoming elections,” Lamido stated.
Lamido further explained that members of the committee were carefully selected based on their commitment and hard work for the success of the party.
He, however, charged the members of the campaign council to work tirelessly for the victory of the party coming to the 2023 general elections.
Speaking on behalf of members of the campaign council, the chairman of the council, Isa Ahmad Duniya Bahutu, assured the party’s candidate and other members of the PDP of working vigorously towards returning the party to power both at the state and national levels.
