El-Kanemi Warriors, a newly promoted team, has completed the acquisition of Gabriel Wassa from Plateau United.
Wassa spent the previous season on loan at Niger Tornadoes of the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The 26-year-old is one of the best left-backs in the NPFL.
The defender has a tonne of experience thanks to his time spent with a number of elite Nigerian Premier League teams, including Rivers United, Lobi Stars, and Akwa United.
He made 17 league appearances for Niger Tornadoes last season and scored once.
El-Kanemi are back in the NPFL after a few years in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
