Ex-FCT Council Chairman, Danladi Zhin, is dead

A former Chairman of Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Danladi Etsu Zhin, has died at the age of 54 at a private hospital in Abuja.

An aide to the deceased, Godwin Omonya, said the two terms Chairman died in the early hours of Sunday after battling an illness for a month.

Omonya said the remains of Zhin had been deposited at a morgue in Abuja by family members.

The late Zhin was the All Progressive Congress, APC, House of Representatives candidate for Abuja South in the 2019 general elections.

The deceased was married to Paulina Etsu Zhin and they had three boys and two girls.

He was until his death the FCT Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Coordinator for Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign for the 2023 general elections.
