Three Dead In Ogun Auto Crash

The famed Lagos-Ibadan expressway was the scene of a fatal accident on Monday morning that claimed the lives of three people.

Around 5:45 am, there was a traffic accident. Two adult females and four adult males were participating.

According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), which confirmed the incident, two men and one lady perished, while the other passengers were injured.

A Toyota Sienna bus with the license plate DKP60LG, according to Florence Okpe, FRSC spokesperson in Ogun.

The Sienna bus was said to have engaged in speeding, which Okpe said led to loss of control, saying it was eventually “brushed” by a tanker.

The FRSC said the injured victims have been taken to Idera Hospital, Sagamu, while the deceased were deposited at the hospital’s morgue.

Meanwhile, the Sector Commander of the FRSC in Ogun, Ahmed Umar, has commiserated with the crash victims, advising them to stop speeding.
