A Nigerian female passenger has been arrested with cocaine-filled capsules from the stomach by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) during a search operation at Lahore Airport, Pakistan.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the unnamed Nigerian woman arrived in Lahore from Qatar flight QR-628 via Doha.
The accused has been arrested and a case has been registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act while investigation has been started.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that 30-year-old Nigerian woman, Nwafor Onyinye Monica, was arrested by the police for being in possession of cocaine worth 5.75 lakh in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Okafor was arrested on Saturday, October 1, 2022, near Kanathur toll gate in an affluent neighbourhood off East Coast Road (ECR) nine months after arriving India for her brother’s cancer treatment.
