Bala Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi State, declared on Tuesday that everyone in his state is a ‘Buharist,’ a term used to describe supporters and loyalists of President Muhammadu Buhari.
WITHIN NIGERIA, Mohammed is said to have made the statement during his speech at the launch of the Kolmani Integrated Development Project in Bauchi state.
The event marked the official exploration of crude oil in northern Nigeria, which was discovered in the neighboring states of Gomber and Bauchi, both in the northeast.
The event was attended by President Buhari, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, and many top government officials, as previously reported by WITHIN NIGERIA.
While declaring that everyone in Bauchi is a Buharist, Mohammed went on to say that the people of the state would vote for whoever the President chose.
