Former Super Eagles players have stormed Kano to kick off the campaign of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu campaign in the state.
The ruling APC campaign tour will take place at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
The 27 former players included Daniel Amokachi, Peter Rufai, Victor Ikpeba, Julius Aghahowa, Mutiu Adepoju, Emmanuel Babayaro, Taribo West, amongst others.
The former Majority Leader in the Kano State House of Assembly, Baffa Agundi, who welcomed the former players promised to make their stay in the state memorable as they embark on the tour in support of Tinubu, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
According to a statement by the Tinubu Support Group, Agundi described the players as one of the best things to happen to the country.
He said the players brought joy to every home in Nigeria during their playing days.
