Karim Benzema, a striker for Real Madrid, is reportedly close to making a shocking switch to Manchester United.
Manchester United is willing to offer Benzema a “crazy salary,” according to the Spanish publication Nacional, in an effort to sign him to an Old Trafford contract.
The Premier League powerhouses will have to compete with Paris Saint-Germain, who are also thought to be interested in the France international, according to the report.
Benzema won the Ballon d’Or winner back in October but has missed the 2022 FIFA World Cup so far due to injury.
The 34-year-old’s current contract with Real Madrid will expire in the summer of 2023.
