Ronaldo Nazario, a Brazilian legend, has praised France forward Kylian Mbappe for his performance at the recently concluded 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Ronaldo compared Mbappe to his best moments, saying the Paris Saint-Germain star knows how to exploit open spaces.
Mbappe dominated the 2022 FIFA World Cup, finishing as the tournament’s top scorer in Qatar.
The former Monaco star scored eight goals and won the World Cup Golden Boot award in Qatar.
Speaking about which player from the France squad impressed him the most, the former Real Madrid striker told Brazilian platform Apostagolos: “Kylian Mbappe, of course. He played an excellent World Cup from the first game to the final.
“Even when he did not score, whether against England in the quarter-finals or Morocco in the semi-finals, he was decisive every time, with clever assists. In the final, he was fantastic with four goals (including the penalty shootout).
“In fact, when I watch him play, he reminds me of my best moments. He knows exactly how to exploit open spaces, how to be unpredictable on and off the ball, and how best to get out of one-on-one situations. He is impressive.”
