With less than 56 days to the presidential election, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, the vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has slammed the chances of the Labour Party (LP), declaring that it is going nowhere.
On Friday, Okowa made the assertion while driving the Delta State PDP campaign train to the state’s Ndokwa West and Ndokwa East Local Government Areas.
The Governor asked PDP supporters to persuade LP members to join the party once more in order to prevent the All Progressives Congress (APC) from having an advantage in the upcoming election.
He said, “We all know that the candidate of APC is not good enough to be our president. Also, we know the Labour Party is not going anywhere, and we need to sweet talk the party supporters to not waste their votes”.
