Seven persons have lost their lives in a fatal road accident that occurred at Gwachip village in Gurara Local Government Area of Niger State.
The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, sector commander, Kumar Tsukwan, who disclosed this said the accident was a lone crash that resulted from a burst tyre.
Tsukwan said the white Toyota Hiace was heading to Lagos from Katsina when the accident occurred.
The FRSC sector commander added that those who lost their lives in the accident are two females and five males, while others were severely injured.
He further stated that corpses have been deposited at the Suleja General Hospital while those injured are receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Center, Gawu.
