Ex-Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi, according to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Campaign Council in Rivers State, is secretly working for the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Additionally, the council declared Amaechi a part of the “wicked cabal” that is making life difficult for Nigerians.
These comments were made in a statement released on Monday by Chief Ogbonna Nwuke, the Rivers State PDP-director CC’s of publicity and communications.
Nwuke pressed Amaechi to refute the claims.
“Only recently, he (Amaechi) reconciled with members of the presidential campaign council in Rivers State as part of the carefully woven plot,” the statement read in part.
He added, “Let him deny that he’s one of those that are working with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar at this time to undermine the genuine aspiration of the people of southern Nigeria.”
