As the presidential elections in 2023 approach, some pastors have declared their support for Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.

The clergymen listed below have declared their support for Peter Obi’s candidacy.

Apostle Johnson Suleiman

Founder of Omega Fire Ministries (OMF), Apostle Johnson Suleman on Sunday 19, 2023, announced that he and his family would be voting for the LP flag bearer.

He revealed that, unlike others who simply make noise on social media, his church has been working tirelessly in support of Obi.

Chris Oyakhilome

Chris Oyakhilome, the General Overseer of the Believers Love World aka Christ Embassy, revealed his preferred presidential candidate during one of his sermons.

The term “virtual reality” refers to the use of technology in order to create a virtual reality experience.

Although no name was mentioned, Pastor Chris gave his members a clue about the third candidate’s saying “his name is in the Bible”.

Paul Enenche

During a Sunday sermon, the senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Paul Enenche, urged Nigerians to support the candidate who had gained unexpected popularity while urging them not to vote for a candidate from either of the two major political parties.

In a subsequent Facebook post, the clergyman shared a photo of Peter Obi and urged Nigerians to vote for him because of his credibility in the upcoming election.

Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere

In August 2022, the General Overseer of the Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, described Obi as God’s Moses sent to rescue Nigeria.

The man of God who was nominated alongside Peter Obi for MAN OF THE YEAR by Nigeria’s leading community television, ‘Igbere TV,’ thanked the media platform for considering him for such a prestigious award.

Pastor Odumeje

Odumeje has been vocal about his support for Peter Obi for quite some time.

The pastor revealed his unwavering support for Obi in a post last year.

He wrote:

Whatever Lagos State is Today Is As A Result Of The Investment Of Igbo People Living And Doing Business There. Igbos Do Not H@te Anybody, If They Do, They Won’t Be Going To Other States Outside Igboland To Live With Their Families, Invest Their Money And Develop There. Igbos Are Known To Bring Life Even To Deserts. The Truth Is Atiku And Tinubu Do Not Have Any Plans For Nigeria, Peter Obi Is The Only One That Can Bring This D£ad Country Back To Life; For A Better Future For Our Children, Let’s Support Him.
