Gboyega Akosile, the Lagos State Government’s Chief Press Secretary, has slammed former presidential aide Reno Omoki for sharing photos of empty seats from the All Progressives Congress (APC) final campaign rally in Lagos today.

It was previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari attended the APC grand finale presidential campaign rally on Tuesday, which was held at the Teslim Balogun stadium in Surulere, Lagos State.

The APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, attended the rally, as did his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima; Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu; APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu; Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong; and Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahya Bello, among others.

A massive crowd of supporters, Nollywood stars, and other entertainers descended on the event as some areas of the state were effectively shut down.

However, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain Reno took to Twitter to share photos of empty seats, claiming that the campaign venue was not filled as shown in some photos.

He also dismissed the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, saying he is doomed.

He wrote:

Close-up photos of the APC Presidential campaign grand finale at the Teslim Balogun stadium today. All those yellow, green and red spots you saw in the video the APC shared are empty seats. See for yourselves. Tinubu is not coming.

Reacting to the post, Gboyega Akosile said the photos of the empty seats shared by Reno were shots from the departure.

He wrote:

Reno, this is beneath you. Haba, you had to take shots of departure to support your cheap narrative! You need help, really.
