Engr. Osita Ngwu, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, has been congratulated by Aniakor Chiamaka Miracle, a social entrepreneur and the founder of the Onyemaechi Memorial Foundation, for winning the Enugu West Senatorial District in the most recent election held in the state.
In the early hours of Monday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Ngwu the winner of the election.
Ngwu received 52,473 votes in the Senatorial election, defeating other party candidates.
In a press statement, ambassador Aniakor, a member of the senator-elect team, said: “A big congratulations to my esteemed boss and Enugu West senator-elect, Engr Osita Ngwu for his landslide victory at the recent poll.
“Indeed, with you, Enugu West Senatorial zone’s interest will be sympathetically and fully protected at the National Assembly”.
“As always, you can rely on my continued loyalty and peaceful working relationship”, she added.
