Gunmen enforcing sit-at-home burn man inside vehicle in Enugu

Gunmen enforcing sit-at-home order have reportedly burnt a man inside a vehicle and razed two Siena cars and five tricycles popularly known as Keke in Enugu State.

It was gathered the attackers stormed the Liberty Bus Stop in Abakpa around 5:30 am and shot consistently into the air before setting ablaze two commercial Sienna vehicles, loading for Nsukka.

The gunmen were also said to have burnt Keke loading for various locations and also burnt an elderly man inside his vehicle at the popular T-Junction.

The assailants were said to have attempted to force the elderly man out of his car before incinerating him inside the car.

According to The Nation, an eyewitness said, “They stopped the man and commanded him to stop out of the car, the man resisted and that made the gunmen opened the fuel door, shot into the tank making the car to go up in flames with the man inside.”

The state police spokesman, Daniel Ndukwe (DSP) could not be reached for reactions as of the time of filing this report.
