Festus Keyamo, the minister of state for labour and employment, stated on Saturday that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu would become president because God raised Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party.

Keyamo, who serves as the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s official spokesman, was responding to Governor Nyesom Wike’s remark that Obi had made sure that power had not returned to the north.

Atiku Abubakar of the PDP’s chances in the South East and South-South were utterly destroyed by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

Atiku had also admitted to this debacle in the two regions, which if he had emerged winner, he would have been president.

In a tweet on Saturday, Keyamo said Obi was raised by God to make Tinubu president as the APC’s candidate profited from Obi’s claiming Atiku’s votes in the regions.

“Indeed, God Almighty raised Peter Obi for a purpose: that purpose was to make @officialABAT President.

“Peter Obi was the means to an end, but not the end itself. Many Men of God, with the greatest respect to them, obviously missed this part of the visions that they saw about 2023,” he tweeted.
