Corps member who died in Lagos train accident buried

Oreoluwa Aina, 28, a member of the National Youth Corps who was killed in the Lagos train accident on March 9 has been laid to rest.

One of the six victims whose demise had been officially ruled by the state government was Aina.

The deceased corps member was buried on Saturday at the Atan cemetery while working for the Lagos State Ministry of Education’s Curriculum Services Department in Alausa.

A delegation of the state government led by the Commissioner for Education, Folasade Adefisayo was present at the burial.

Also present were the deceased’s family members and the State Coordinator of NYSC, Yetunde Baderinwa.

WITHIN NIGERIA reported that a passenger train crushed a Lagos State Government staff bus on its way from Ikotun en route to Alausa, the state secretariat, at the PWD area of the state.

The accident happened around 7:00 am.
