Reno Omokri, the former presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan has urged Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi to accept that he was used by President-elect Bola Tinubu to gain the presidency.
Reno, a supporter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, insisted that Obi was delusory in claiming victory in the 2023 presidential election.
In a tweet on Wednesday, the media personality urged Obi to lick his wounds and accept defeat, stating that it was impossible for him to win the election if he did not receive 25% of the vote outside of the Southeast, South-South, and North Central.
Omokri wrote;
What kind of delusion is making Peter Obi, who couldn’t win 25% of the votes outside SE and SS and NC states with a sizeable Igbo population and Lagos, claim he won #NigerianElections2023? My friend, accept that Tinubu used *** ***** to play you. Lick your wounds!

Speaking further, he wondered the reason Obi was not suspended for anti-party activities after asking Obidients to vote for PDP’s Cross River guber candidate, Sandy Onor.
2 days ago Labour suspended Basambo Abubakar, its Kwara guber candidate, for anti-party activities. Yesterday, Peter Obi asked Obidients to vote for PDP’s C River guber candidate, Sandy Onor. Will Labour also suspend him or are there different rules for different folks?, he added.
