The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board issued a directive on Thursday stating that notification slips for applicants who had registered for the optional 2023 UTME mock exam planned for Thursday, March 30, 2023, will be available for printing starting on Thursday, March 23, 2023.

WITHIN NIGERIA reports that a total of 176,408 candidates will be tested.

“All candidates for the Mock-UTME are to visit https://www.jamb.gov.ng., CLICK on 2023 Mock-UTME on the MENU button to print their slips after inputting their Registration Number. This directive is only applicable to those candidates, who had indicated interest to take the mock examination”, the board said in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja by the board’s Director of Media and Publicity, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.

The notification slip includes the candidate’s registration number, the exam location, the exam date, and the exam time, the board explained.

No prejudice is shown toward PWDs, claims JAMB
According to JAMB, this would make it simple for candidates to find their testing locations in advance.

Moreover, candidates are advised to be at their testing locations one hour prior to the exam to complete biometric verification.

The board also reaffirmed its zero tolerance policy for exam fraud and stressed the importance of the exam’s scheduled start time.

“In the same vein, candidates are advised against going into the examination halls with prohibited items such as wristwatches, calculators, flash drives, phones, among others. They are also warned to desist from the application of “laale” to do fancied drawings and paintings on their hands to avoid unnecessary interference with the whorls of their fingers which could impede biometric verification.”
