President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his condolences to former Abia State Governor Orji Uzor Kalu on Monday.
Ifeoma Ada, wife of the chief whip of the Senate and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, passed away at the age of 61.
The President also consoled the President’s family, friends, and associates, urging them to put their trust in God for comfort and care during this difficult time.
Buhari believes that the testimonies of Ifeoma’s fear of God and charity should provide comfort to loved ones who know she lived a good life.
The president’s statement by spokesperson Femi Adesina prayed for the repose of her soul, and fortitude for the family to bear the loss.
Kalu announced that a memorial service in honour of the deceased will be held in the United States of America.
