In Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State, Mr. Jacob Agada, a retired immigration officer, was killed by alleged gunmen.

On Thursday evening, the unfortunate occurrence took place close to Agaya hotels, Ombi 2, and Lafia. At around nine o’clock in the evening, the thugs reportedly kidnapped Mr. Agada as he was making his way home. Later, his lifeless body was found nearby.

The incidence was corroborated by a family friend of the deceased, who also expressed sorrow and remorse over the loss of their loved one.

The friend revealed that Mr. Agada was kidnapped by the hoodlums who were hiding not far from his gate. The retired officer lived just beside Agaya hotels. The friend also called for prayers for the departed and an end to the insecurity challenges in the Ombi II, Danka, and Kwandare axis in recent times.
