Two men were on Thursday docked at a Badagry Magistrates’ Court in Lagos over alleged burglary, stealing and threat to life.

The defendants, Saheed Ajayi, 25, and Usman Abubakre, whose addresses were not disclosed, are being tried on three counts of breaking and entry, stealing, malicious damage and threat to life.

The prosecutor, Insp Ayodele Adeosun, told the court that the defendant committed the offences on April 9, at about 9:30 a.m. at Suve Whezume, Ilogbo-Eremi, Badagry, Lagos.

Adeosun alleged that the defendants broke into the complainant, John Obadija’s apartment with the intent to commit a felony.
