Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the incoming president, has arrived in Port-Harcourt, the state capital of Rivers, on a two-day official visit.
At precisely 10:03 a.m., his aircraft touched down at Port Harcourt International Airport Omagwa.
Residents of the state gathered at the airport and cheered when Tinubu and his entourage got off the plane.
Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, invited Tinubu on a two-day visit to dedicate the Magistrate Court Complex and the Rumuola-Rumuokwuta Flyover.

Leaders that accompanied Wike to receive Tinubu were the National and state Assembly members, PDP leaders, local government chairmen and government appointees.
Hundreds of supporters of Wike were seen at the airport cheering the August visitor.
Tinubu will be hosted at a state banquet on Wednesday evening.
The Governor had declared a public holiday for the visit and encouraged residents to troop out en masse to welcome their President-elect.
