The verification tag associated with the account of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the former vice president of Nigeria, was removed from Twitter on Monday.
Prior to its removal, the unique verification tag was made for officials of the government.
It was noted that Osinbajo’s tag had been removed as of the time of publication, however Muhammadu Buhari’s account’s tag remained.
WITHIN NIGERIA could not verify reasons behind this development as other vital information are still sketchy at press time.
