Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has vowed that he and other separatists fighting for Biafra’s recognition as a sovereign state will not back down.
On Tuesday, Nnamdi Kanu’s legal counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, tweeted his message.
Kanu, who has been in the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS, in Abuja since 2021, praised IPOB members for their solidarity in his release, according to Ejimakor.
He assured them that Biafra’s actualization would be pursued to its logical conclusion, stating that it is non-negotiable.
The tweet reads, “Personal Message from Mazi Nnamdi Kanu: “I deeply appreciate the abiding solidarity of the people of Biafra & the entire IPOB noble family against my continued illegal detention.
“I assure you all that our pursuit of self determination to its logical conclusion is non-negotiable”.
