Nigerian soldiers have killed eleven ISWAP terrorists in a fresh devastating onslaught on the insurgents’ enclaves in Sambisa forest in Borno State.

The terrorists were neutralised by Troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), in collaboration with Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and Hybrid forces.

According to reports, the terrorists met their Waterloo during the intelligence-led offensive between May 31st and June 4th, 2023, in the terrorists’ hideouts within the axis of Damboa and Chibok local government areas.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in the Lake Chad region, that the troops stormed and cleared some of the terrorists’ hideouts in Bale, Tirke, Mandari and Molgoi.
