All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain Femi Fani-Kayode has claimed that Godswill Akpabio’s election as president of the 10th Senate was a victory for President Bola Tinubu.

WITHIN NIGERIA previously reported that the Akwa Ibom South-West Senator defeated Zamfara West Senator Abdul’aziz Yari on Tuesday to become the new Senate President.

However, Fani-Kayode, an APC chieftain, claimed in a tweet that Tinubu and the ruling party had won.

He wrote, “Congratulations to our new Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio and our new Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin.
