Malam Hisham Habib has been appointed as acting chief press secretary with the approval of Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf.
Mr. Bature Dawakin-Tofa, who is in Saudi Arabia overseeing the state’s 2023 Hajj Operation Media Team, will not return until Habib takes over.
This information can be found in a statement that Dawakin-Tofa released on Wednesday in Kano.
Habib recently held the position of director of publicity for the NNPP 2023 Campaign Council in Kano state. He is a seasoned media professional with more than two decades of experience in print media.
Yusuf encouraged the media to support and cooperate with Habib to ensure his success in leading Dawakin-Tofa.
The statement stated that the appointment has taken effect.
