ActionAid Nigeria (AAN) has advised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to repeat the lapses of the 2023 general elections ahead of the governorship elections in Kogi, Bayelsa, and Imo states on November 11.
Ene Obi, the AAN Country Director, made the call yesterday in Abuja during a dissemination workshop on enhancing logistic delivery and citizen participation in Nigerian elections (En-logic).
Ene, represented by AAN Director of Programmes Hajiya Suweiba Muhammad Dankabo, stated that effective and efficient logistics deployment was critical to the success of the general elections.
She said;
We have seen the application of the BIVAS and it was not much different from what we had been experiencing.
