Another villager also claimed that Chigozie was having a “marathon sex” with his girlfriend during which the girl died.

According to the villager who identified himself as Nze, the suspect was caught by some youths of the community after he had finished dumping the lifeless body of his dead girlfriend in the dustbin and attempted to escape.

Meanwhile, the suspect has been handed over to the Police for investigation, while the corpse of the dead girlfriend has been deposited in an undisclosed mortuary.

The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Chioma Maureen Chinaka is yet to issue a statement on the incident.

Meanwhile, One Piller Erekwa has been remanded at the maximum security custodial centre in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, for allegedly defiling a minor.
