After 7 months, bandits release abducted Zamfara college students

  • They were kidnapped along Bimini Magaji-Laura Namoda road in January, 2023

The four kidnapped female students of Zamfara State College of Arts and Sciences, ZACAS, Gusau, have been released.

The students regained their freedom after over six months in bandits’ den.

Recall that the kidnappers had released two video clips at different periods in which the victims were seen weeping and appealing to the government and wealthy individuals to come to their aid and secure their freedom.

One of the victims lost her mother who died of shock after watching the first video clip.

They were kidnapped along Bimini Magaji-Laura Namoda road in January, 2023, while returning from a wedding ceremony.

The State Police Command confirmed that they were rescued by security operatives in the State.
