An Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology student is being praised online for her heroic act as a midwife.

She assisted a pregnant woman in giving birth inside a commercial car, garnering admiration and attention across social media.

The heartwarming video, initially shared on Friday by Facebook user Izuchukwu Innocent Okoli, quickly gained popularity and started trending on Monday.

Hailing the female student who was identified as Chizzy Perry, Okoli wrote, “Congratulations to our student (PUH ND2) who helped to deliver a pregnant woman that is due for delivery inside their vehicle travelling to Lagos State. You have proven that your stays, fees and industrial training in Abia state college of health sciences and management technology, Aba was never in vain you have made us all in ABSCOHSMAT proud.

In another news, Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has recognized the remarkable honesty of a female pilgrim, Hajiya Aishatu ‘yan Guru Nahuce, from Bungudu Local Government Area. During the last Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia, she discovered and returned $80,000 (equivalent to about N60 million) to its rightful owner.

In a ceremony held at the Council Chambers in the Government House, the governor, along with all the emirs of the state, commended Hajiya Aishatu Nahuce’s exemplary act of integrity. The Zamfara Pilgrims Welfare Agency officials received the sum from her and ensured its safe return to the rightful owner.
