Following the passing of Doctor Vwaere Diaso, Adenike Adekambi, general manager of the Lagos State Infrastructure and Asset Management Agency (LASIAMA), has been placed on administrative leave.
The General Hospital, Odan, Lagos Island facility managers were also fired by the government and placed on a blacklist.
Olumide Sogunle, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Strategy, said that these choices were made following preliminary investigations.
Sogunle claims that the government assembled a team to investigate the accident’s most likely causes, identify responsible parties, and offer recommendations for preventing a repeat.
