Recall that President Bola Tinubu on Monday, August 21 swore in 45 ministers-designate.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at the banquet hall of the presidential villa in the federal capital territory (FCT).

In a courtesy visit to Nyesom Wike, the spokesperson of the group, Tamuno Nengi described the appointment of its principal ‘a round peg in a round hole’, describing it as well deserved one.

Wike is a noteworthy politician who is a political playmaker, according to Nengi, who also said that due of his capacity to succeed against all obstacles, Wike should be studied by all aspiring politicians.

Nengi added, “Wike appears to be the only politician in Nigeria who has been able to advance from being the chairman of a local government to the Chief of Staff to the State Governor to the Minister of State for Education to the State Governor and now the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.”

We would want to congratulate you on being selected by the Senate and appointed as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja. We are here as your close companions and mentees who look forward to you as a mentor, Nengi said.

“We are confident that you will continue to serve the country with diligence, just as you have in past positions. You were devoted, industrious, and consciously concerned about the plights of the people at every opportunity to serve. As a group, we firmly feel that you have a fantastic opportunity to support President Tinubu in realizing his renewed hope agenda in this, your new post.

“You did a commendable job serving the people as a governor. The state became the center of attention due to the friendly policies of your people. As a governor, you have established a precedent and demonstrated excellent leadership qualities by providing services and sound governance in response to the demands of the people, and there is no question in our minds as to why you were appointed FCT minister.

“As the group’s representative, I firmly believe that you would perform better in the role of FCT minister. Additionally, I have no doubt that you will accelerate the process such that others who take over your workplace view you as an inspiration. We hope you all the best and look forward to seeing how fantastic you can be in your new office.

Recall that Nyesom Wike, a member of the major opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was one of 45 ministerial nominees screened and confirmed by the senate.
