Residents of Ohiya community in Umuahia South Local Government Area have raised an alarm to notify both the Abia State government and security agencies regarding the unsettling discovery of two lifeless bodies.

The bodies, which remain unidentified, were found without clothing as confirmed by village sources and commercial transporters. The grim discovery took place during the weekend along the Tower-Ohiya stretch of the Umuahia-Enugu expressway.

Accounts from these sources suggest uncertainty about whether the victims met their demise at the location or were transported there by unidentified individuals after being killed elsewhere.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a bus driver informed DAILY POST that the corpses were in an advanced state of decomposition, further noting that they were lying face up and unclothed. The overpowering stench emanating from the bodies tainted the air in the vicinity.
