Ogun So-Safe Corps Recovers Vehicle Stolen In Ibadan

  • The So-Safe boss revealed that the car was seized from its owner at gunpoint in Ibadan, Oyo State, according to found documents.
  • The vehicle has since been handed over to the police in Ado-Odo Divisional Headquarters for further investigations.

During a shootout with alleged auto thieves in the state, the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, also known by the codename So-Safe Corps, was able to retrieve a stolen car.

According to a statement released by So-Safe from the Office of the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo, through the Office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf, on October 14, 2023, at around 04:15 hrs., the officers of the corps’ Ado Odo Division, under the Agbara Area Command, led by ACC Adebesin Lukman, suspected

The corps commander said, having questioned their ownership of the vehicle, they stylishly escaped from the scene.

The statement also read that the effort of the corps was further revealed through a document found in the car that the vehicle was snatched from its owner at gunpoint at Ibadan, Oyo State.

Ganzallo noted that another number plate, AKD 144 AC was found hidden in the vehicle.

Consequently, Ganzallo said that the vehicle had been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, Ado Odo Divisional Headquarters for further investigation
