The police in the Federal Capital Terrritory, FCT, have thwarted an attempt to traffic 12 children who were abducted from Nasarawa State.

The trafficker was caught when the police intercepted a vehicle conveying the underage children, four male and eight female, to a place in Ogun State.

The interception occurred when one Muhammad Isah of Kafanchan, Kaduna, was arrested in the Toyota Hiace bus with registration number APP 489 XE that was used to transport the children.

The operation, conducted by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad 74 (RRS 74), took place on Friday, 9th February 2024, around 12:55 am.
