  • General Secretary Sanusi emphasizes importance of home victory to boost Falcons’ confidence before away fixture in South Africa

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has issued a rallying call to residents of Abuja and neighbouring states, urging them to show massive support for the Super Falcons at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, on Friday. The clash between nine-time African champions Nigeria and reigning African champions South Africa promises to be a thrilling encounter at Nigeria’s impressive sporting facility starting at 5 pm on Friday. The return leg is scheduled at Pretoria’s Loftus Versfeld arena next Tuesday.

Sanusi stated, “The NFF is calling on Nigerians from all over the Federal Capital Territory and the neighbouring States, and indeed from all over Nigeria, to come out in their tens of thousands to cheer the Super Falcons to victory in the match against South Africa.”
